Emma Raducanu splits from coach Dmitry Tursunov

Emma Raducanu has split from Dmitry Tursunov in her fourth coaching change in the past 15 months.
The former US Open champion started working with the Russian back in July after parting ways with Nigel Sears, Andrew Richardson and Torben Beltz.

In that time, Raducanu has reached one WTA semi-final in Seoul before having to withdraw injured, and she has won eight of her 15 games under Tursunov’s tutelage.

According to BBC Sport, Raducanu was keen to continue her partnership with Tursunov, but the 39-year-old has called it quits in order to pursue other opportunities elsewhere.

Raducanu’s recent merry-go-round of coaches supposedly factored into Tursunov’s decision as well, and the 19-year-old is currently planning to work with Andy Murray’s former trainer Jez Green.

Raducanu is currently dealing with a wrist injury, but the teenager is aiming to recover in time to represent Great Britain in November’s Billie Jean King Cup Finals in Glasgow.
