Tyson Fury just wowed at WWE’s Clash at the Castle with epic intervention

He knocked out a wrestler, he shook some hands and then he sang a song

Tyson Fury played an eventful part in WWE’s Clash at the Castle in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. The two-time heavyweight boxing champion of the world was sat ringside for Saturday’s event in the home of Welsh rugby and he certainly made his mark in the night’s biggest match.

With Scotland’s Drew McIntyre going up against Roman Reigns to become the undisputed universal champion, Fury was expected to play some part, given his constant verbal banter with McIntyre – but few probably predicted the impact he ultimately had. In a pulsating match which had the Cardiff crowd on their feet, Fury stole the show late in the day – knocking out wrestler Austin Theory after he had entered proceedings once the match referee had been knocked out.

After Reigns held onto his belts, Fury entered the ring – engaging in a long stand-off with the champion. However, he ultimately just shook hands with Reigns before the champion departed with his belts.

Still though, Fury had more for the Cardiff crowd. Picking the defeated McIntyre off the canvas, he had some words of consolation for the Scot before bursting into a rendition of American Pie.

McIntyre responded in kind, bursting into Oasis’ Don’t Look Back in Anger after saying: “My island of lineage didn’t let me down. As Tyson says, we keep fighting but we keep pushing.
